hi norman.......i just thought i would drop you a line.i was 18 years
when caroline started in 1964,and it was a way of life.friendly djs,jingles.it
kept me tuned hours upon hours.djs johnny walker,robbie dale roger day
,tom lodge,gerry leighton,latter 2 i met going to caroline dance in liverpool,shared
compartment on train.now look at british radio what a mess.what do i listen
to now.well i listen to wrll 1690 chicago,or radio mi amigo.they play
my type of music 50s,60s and 70s.also listen to roger day when hes on
caroline.incidentally i did go on board radio caroline the mi amigo in
schevening.peter chicago took me on board.i enjoyed it.maybe someone someday
younger person will start another station up again. we certainly need

just wanted to say hi and thanx for sharing esp. the Luxemburg jingle
from 70 - 80 brought back many happy memories from my teens staying up

Hi
I remember radio caroline's first transmissions when I was hunting the
MW for some good listening ? I lived in Kent at the time Dymchurch! Then
I heard DING DING DING a ships bell I think? and then some one spoke THIS
IS RADIO CAROLINE ON 199 DING DING DING and so on are their recordings
of this.
It's nice to find a site with all this info on thank you. Regards a 62
